What is Life Coaching?
Coaching is about developing people and empowering them to come up with their own answers. People choose to spend time with a life coach to reach a goal or overcome an area of struggle in their life. My approach to coaching is to take my clients and helping them develop the necessary skills to Transform, Transition and Thrive.
Life coaching is a results-oriented effort that focuses on developing weak areas in our lives that allow us to make positive changes in the present. Together we will develop a plan of action to move forward, while establishing an accountability with one another to see you thru the achievement of said goals. During our time together we will assess, break down and address common blocks and obstacles that are holding the client back from living a full and satisfying life.
1. What is the difference between you, a Lifecoach, and a therapist.
This is a black and white question. Every therapist does not operate the same just like every life coach doesn’t. Most Lifecoach’s are simply so because of a certification and don’t empower much of a change, meanwhile some speak from experience and mastering change in their very own lives, in every Pilar of their life. Most therapists practice from what they learned, rather than true mastery of life.
I can however say, me as a life coach, I go down to the core of the problem and resolve without labeling you. I go to your past
to help you understand it on a deep level
and then teach and empower you to define it from a perspective that empowers you, rather than disempowering you with labels.
My approach is a bit more assertive and very different from society’s.
Bruce Lee said that personal development is against societies investment. Societies investment is in hospitals, medications, jails, and rehabilitation centers which rarely ever empower one to become the ultimate version of themselves.
I work on developing you into the ultimate version of your true self. The average professional that works within societies system calls it mental rehabilitation, includes a bunch of labels and teaches one how to cope. I remove the disempowering labels and beliefs, and teach and empower one to overcome and more, become someone which no longer finds the old lifestyle and habits to be appealing or attractive.
As a life coach, I am very detailed with my work, from transforming one from within, to communicating with the people in your current environment, how to raise your standards and empower you to believe that yes, you are worthy of achieving and leading quality relationships that empower and inspire you to continue growing for the rest of your life.
I lead you to unsettle for mediocre and to never settle again for anything less than what you were destined to experience.
A therapist may tell you what to do. I teach and empower you to transform from within so you can do what others tell you what to do. Most know what they have to do, but trying to create change with the same personality doesn’t work.
If one is truly serious about becoming the ultimate version of themselves and discovering the true meaning of life, then their very own desire will lead them to step into this experience, own it and it’s endless benefits for the rest of their lives, and so will the generations to come.
2. What are your fees?
My fees vary greatly. The fee will depend on where you currently stand in life, to include the challenges you are facing within you and without you, and what you would like to accomplish in your life.
My assessments are free so the only way you can get a definite answer is to schedule a free, no commitment assessment.
On a sidenote, the question should be, what does the quality of benefits look and feel like if I go through this coaching process. The reason why most people never live up to the level of happiness and success that they were destined to live is because they don’t value the things and sources that will truly help them develop into the person that will cause them to attract the level of success they were destined to experience.
3. What qualifies you to deliver the quality of results that you do?
1. Experience. I ask people the following question. If you were going to hire someone to lead you up to the peak of Mount Everest, would you hire somebody who has read about it, or somebody who has accomplished to reach the peak on many occasions and has taught many many to do the same?
With that being said, I have had many trials and tribulations of my own, in business, relationships, and within myself. I’ve been betrayed and I have betrayed. I’ve been on both sides of the fence and mastered both.
The generations before me handed me a bunch of corrupt beliefs and habits. Genetically speaking, I was doomed to fail. And meanwhile, I did fail miserably and embarrassingly many a times to count, I accomplished to overcome every setback that I experienced in my life, but more importantly, I was able to become something great. It wasn’t an easy process, but it was very well worth it. It is not simply experiences that give us the power to empower a radical transformation in the lives of other people, but mastery of ones self and every pillar of life. That is just the first phase. The second phase I had to complete in order to be able to teach and empower the quality of results within others that I do today, required me to teach others how to do the same and for that, I committed and volunteered 5 years of my life to practicing and developing individuals who were extremely conflicted for a wide variety of reasons. To include, past traumas, brutal betrayals, states of apathy, heartbreak, manipulation, you name it.
2. My belief in God and the power which he drives me with.
Even with all of my experience and knowing, there are somethings that I cannot do on my own free will, but the power of God always seems to make away where there is no way. On a side note, I will never try to impose my spiritual belief on anybody, unless they become curious about it. I have worked with all walks of life, so don’t assume that because I believe in God, that you must also, in order to work with me.
3. Passion and Purpose
In the first year of practicing, I was simply doing it as a hobby, unaware that I was being led to this purpose. In other words, I was in love with what I do today without even knowing that there was money to be earned or that I would one day do this as a calling. I fell in love with the purpose first.
If you are going to trust somebody with the well-being of your core, your spirit, your heart and your mind, it’s best to choose somebody who is passionate and purposed for the responsibility.
4. What leads one to qualify a product or service they will purchase. Simply put, the results the product or service has led one to experience. You can judge a tree by the fruit it bears.
